It is with great pleasure that Chapman’s List Barristers welcomes Elissa Taylor to our growing list of barristers.
Elissa is an experienced advocate who accepts briefs in all areas of criminal and quasi-criminal law, including disciplinary and regulatory matters.
Before coming to the bar, Elissa worked at NSW Legal Aid. Whilst there, she regularly appeared as a solicitor advocate. She developed significant expertise in responding to the needs of a diverse range of clients, including those with factually and legally complex matters.
As a solicitor, Elissa has also worked overseas, advising organisations and individuals on regulatory matters across various jurisdictions.
Elissa has a Master of Laws (with distinction) from the University of NSW.
Elissa is reading with Anthony Lewis, and her senior mentor is Justin Hannebery KC.
