Damien Hannan is a highly experienced barrister with over 23 years of practice in all aspects of criminal law. His extensive trial experience includes conducting more than 250 criminal trials in the County Court, covering matters such as fraud, drug trafficking, sexual offences, assaults and robberies.
Damien regularly appears for clients in inquests, committal hearings, contested summary hearings, bail applications, plea hearings, contest mentions and mentions in the Magistrates’ Court. He has appeared in a number of significant and complex criminal matters for both the Prosecution and Defence in the County and Supreme Court as well as the Supreme Court of Appeal.
Damien’s is briefed by solicitors to provide advice, draft submissions and appear in criminal matters in all jurisdictions for prosecuting agencies and defendants.
