Kim has a broad range of experience appearing in contested matters in the Federal Circuit Court, the County Court, the Supreme Court, VCAT, the Magistrates’ Court, and the Children’s Court.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Kim worked with the Department of Health and Human Services as a solicitor on the corporate team. She was responsible for drafting and advising on Department contracts and litigious disputes.  Kim also appeared in litigious matters on behalf of the Department.

Kim was an Associate Solicitor for 4 years, during which time she conducted numerous cases in general commercial litigation, corporate insolvency and bankruptcy.  Kim also appeared in family law and criminal law matters. She has particular skills in the negotiation and resolution of litigious disputes.

As a way of giving back to the community, Kim regularly undertakes pro bono work via Justice Connect.
