Kate Dugan has been a Clerk of Chapman’s List Barristers for more than a decade and has worked in the legal industry for more than 35 years.
Kate is one of the primary points of contact for solicitors seeking to identify and brief an appropriate Barrister for their client. Kate uses her operational and organisational experience – together with her deep understanding of the legal industry – to help identify and recommend the most appropriate support for solicitors and their clients.
In addition to briefing enquiries, Kate assists Chapman’s List Barristers with organising their schedules, managing fees, and navigating the day-to-day challenges of operating at the Bar.
Prior to joining Chapman’s List in 2012, Kate held the position of Office Manager of a criminal law firm where she worked for more than 25 years. In this role, Kate gained significant insights into both the client side of a matter and the operational requirements of running a legal practice.
